## Data Sources

**Census of India 2011 — Demographic Attributes**
The thematic maps are built on district-level demographic attributes from the Census of India 2011, including population by sex, literacy, Scheduled Caste population, Scheduled Tribe population, and workforce participation.

- Usage in this project: Source of the demographic indicator values mapped at the district level.

**Administrative Boundaries**
Country, state, district, tehsil, and village boundary layers were provided with the project data. Boundary geometry provenance should be verified with the data owner before any public redistribution of the underlying vector data.

> This showcase redistributes only the **generated thematic map images and reports**, not the raw vector boundaries or the source attribute tables.
